    Open Water Certification

    Classes begin any day of the week, for a total of three days. They consist of lecture, two pool sessions, and two dive trips for a total of four open water dives.

    Diver’s Paradise will furnish all equipment necessary Scuba gear for the course. This includes the tanks, regulator, buoyancy compensator and weight belt. Personal gear (mask, snorkel and fins) must be provided or purchased at the shop. We have a wide selection of gear available at the shop. Classes start on demand (Pool on site).

    Cost $475 with book and DVD. PADI e-learning upgrade available for $75

    Advance Open Water Scuba Course

    The Advance Open Water course is designed to provide the novice diver a structured, well-supervised means to gain additional experience by involving students in various underwater tasks that broaden their awareness of the environment and their capabilities as divers.

    Course Standards and Overview: The Advanced Open Water course consists of five open-water training dives in which he/she will be trained in the following categories:

    1. Underwater Navigation (Compass and Natural)

    2. Deep Diving

    3. Search & recovery; Wrecks; Elective

     

    Course Prerequisites: Open Water Certification

    General Information: The advance Open Water course will be divided into the following sections:

    1. Two classroom lectures: Advanced Skill Orientation and Physics, Physiology, Dive Tables

    2. Five Open Water Dives.

     

    Cost $475 with book and DVD. PADI e-learning upgrade available for $75

    Rescue Diver Course

    The Rescue Diver course is an important and crucial step in expanding a diver’s knowledge and experience beyond a purely recreational level. The course is designed to develop the necessary knowledge and skills for individuals to effectively perform diver rescues and assists, manage diving accident situations, and render proper first aid. This is prerequisite for all leadership training (Divemaster, Assistant, Instructor, Open Water Scuba Instructor) Courses.

     

    Course Prerequisites: Open Water Diver Certification

     

    Course Cost: The course fee is $475
     

    Equipment: The student is to furnish all of his/her own underwater equipment.
     

    Text: The Rescue Diver Manual is required for the course. Two passport pictures are needed for certification.

    Divemaster Course

    The Divemaster course is designed to encourage and prepare students for instructor level training and its importance cannot be overstated. The goals of the course are to enable its students to organize, conduct, and supervise recreational diving activities.

     

    Course Prerequisites: Open Water Certification, Advanced Certification, Rescue Certification CRP and First Aid Certification. Course Fee: The course fee is $795 and includes all of the dives.
     

    Equipment: The student is to furnish all of his/her own underwater equipment.

     

    Text: The Divemaster Manual is required for the course. Not included. Two Passport pictures are needed for certification.
